I’m Don Ferguson, a kid from Cambridge who grew up, raised a family, and now writes from the coastal town of Amesbury, Massachusetts. I started this blog to track memories, sports adventures, and the interesting ideas that surface along the way. Over time, it’s become something deeper—a place to explore how life changes as we age, and how the real work often shifts from the what we do on the outside to the journey inside.

Here at The Bowlegged Blogger, I share thoughts on movement, meaning, endurance, and the unexpected signs that show up along the road. Some posts follow the miles I bike, run, or swim; others reflect on the internal miles we all navigate. All of it is part of the same journey.
