To say that the coastal route from Newburyport to Maine is beautiful is an understatement.  In a strange way the most beautiful are the natural scenes.  The fishing boats at rest in the bay and the stacks of yellow and green lobster traps that line the docks.  Today was a 100 mile day filled with barns, boats, swirling tidal waters and cool New England misty morning.
